Math

Math is commonly associated with counting and numbers. But it also involves measuring, sorting, and understanding geometric shapes. Making comparisons is also an important math skill. This occurs when children compare quantities or notice patterns and rhythms. Learning about shapes and how they fit together is part of math, too. On the next page, you will see a video of a young girl and her mother using numbers as they play together.
